Before paying any deposit, signing any agreement, or transferring any money to a landlord or agent found through RentSpotter, you must independently verify their identity, ownership of the property, and the terms of any agreement. RentSpotter is not liable for any loss, fraud, or dispute arising from direct transactions between users and listing contacts.

What is RentSpotter?
RentSpotter is a property listing discovery and marketing platform. We aggregate publicly available rental, sale, and student accommodation listings from across 11 countries so you can find and contact providers faster. We are NOT an estate agent, broker, property manager, or escrow service.
Does RentSpotter verify listings or landlords?
No. RentSpotter does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any listing, landlord, agent, or property. Listings come from public sources and submissions. You must do your own due diligence before making any payment or agreement.
What does "Unlock" mean?
For supported countries, you can pay a small once-off fee to access landlord or agent contact details for listings in that country. Unlocking gives you direct contact info — phone, email, or WhatsApp. RentSpotter does not handle any rental or property payment.
Does RentSpotter handle rent payments or deposits?
Absolutely not. All financial transactions — rent, deposit, purchase price — happen directly between you and the landlord or agent. RentSpotter only facilitates contact discovery.
What payment method does RentSpotter accept for unlocking contacts?
Payment methods depend on the product and country. Paid-live rental access currently uses the secure payment method shown at checkout, including Dodo-hosted card or wallet payment where configured. Short Time Stay customers can choose PayPal or secure card checkout where available. RentSpotter does not store your PayPal password or full card number.
What if a listing is outdated or no longer available?
Listings may become unavailable after they are posted. RentSpotter updates its inventory regularly, but cannot guarantee real-time availability. Always confirm availability directly with the listing contact before making any commitments.
Can I list my property on RentSpotter?
Yes! Landlords, agents, and property owners can submit their listings via the "List Your Property" page. Submitted listings go through admin review before going live.
Is my data safe?
Contact details are released only after a valid access entitlement is confirmed. For current rental and ShortTime Stay access, the matching checkout email is used to restore access. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
How do I report a suspicious or fraudulent listing?
You can contact us via WhatsApp or email. We will review and remove any listing that violates our platform standards.
Does RentSpotter operate in my country?
RentSpotter has coverage across multiple countries, with inventory depth varying by market and product. We are strongest where current, contact-ready listings are available, and more destinations are added as inventory is sourced and reviewed.
